The intermediate course we offer follows on from the lessons taught in the basic course. This instruction relates to the use of a firearm within a 300-600 metre application. The intermediate course covers shooting positions, calculation of environmental factors, and understanding ballistics as they relate to external conditions. These lessons include a mix of practical and theory-based learning, allowing you to gain a thorough understanding.
The advanced course encompasses custom ballistics and a deeper understanding of wind and elevation factors. Our advanced training also
covers high-altitude angle shooting. We recommend that you be an experienced shooter, or attend our basic and intermediate courses, before attending the advanced course.
The hunter’s course is an amalgamation of all 3 standard courses. However, the teaching is adapted to have relevance within hunting scenarios. The hunter’s course is the most practical, as it involves assessing a situation before putting your skills you have learned into practice. This is particularly useful for Hunter's DMQ training and assessments, or any of the Forestry Commission shooting classes.
